Goodbye L3 Analytics, Hello LeapThree
This is the final L3 Analytics blog post as we complete a merger with AEP Convert to become LeapThree. It became apparent last year that while L3 Analytics was achieving a lot of success, it wasn’t growing as fast as I would like. I made a phone call to an old friend Michael Feiner @ AEP Convert and LeapThree is the result.
The merger makes so much sense as, beyond sharing the management workload, the synergies were obvious. ...
Call for speakers for eMetrics London 2016
I have been privileged over the past three years to chair the London eMetrics Summit, gearing up now for #4. Besides chairing the actual conference, a big part of my responsibility is to select the speakers and content for the conference. Having attended numerous conferences with weak content and scattered with sales pitches, it is a responsibility I take quite seriously.
The next eMetrics is being ...

Happy Birthday to Us
This month the team are celebrating a full five years of L3 Analytics, from its first day (one analyst, no clients – more the start of a 90s slacker movie than a company) to now, a healthy nine-strong organisation with multinational clients, an approved Google Analytics Certified Partnership and a posh office with sparkling water on tap.
So what did we do to kick up our heels? Well, we’re geeks, so first up we went to an ...
In case anyone reading this is unaware, MeasureBowling is returning on Thurs 6th June. It is a simple concept, an evening out for the Digital Analytics community featuring no presentations, just fun times. We have 43 people signed up so far which is a good start, targeting 60+ on the night itself.
But MeasureBowling is about more than just London. It will be happening at the same time in 10 cities across Europe. ...
Reporting Live from the Adobe Summit
I was very happy to be announced recently as one of the Roving Reporters for the London Adobe Summit. It gets me a free ticket to the conference in exchange for my thoughts & feedback during and after the event. So expect a lot of #measure tweeting on Wed/Thurs during the conference. We have been encouraged to have a relaxed approach on Social Media which suits me fine... (hopefully Aussie bluntness will be accepted as ...
Would I make a good Adobe Summit Roving Reporter?
Adobe is looking to recruit a Roving Reporter for the Adobe Summit in London later this month. Adobe has history in recruiting Australians to report on their summits and after the success of @MicheleJKiss, they are sure to want to continue the tradition. With a free conference pass up for grabs, this sounds like my sort of gig.
I have listed reasons below why I believe Adobe should select me as the roving reporter. But rather ...
Peter O’Neill – event organiser?
And I have gone quiet again. This time I have a better excuse - I was busy organising the first London Digital Analytics unconference – MeasureCamp. It took up a huge amount of my time over the past couple of months leaving no time for writing (or even reading) blog posts. Back now though and ready to get back into it again.
A Digital Analytics Unconference in London
Having attended five unconferences over the past few ...
Open Request to Call Tracking Vendors
My simple description of call tracking solutions is they present unique phone numbers on a website so that when a website visitor calls, you can view their website behaviour prior to the call. The person answering the phone can see the traffic source of the visitor and what pages they viewed - with this information being used to help the caller. Information on the call itself can be captured and call performance evaluated. The ...
How to Use the Data from Social Media
I am co-organiser of the London Web Analytics Meet-up group, having been volunteered by Barry Mann at some stage last year. The next get together was scheduled for the 15th Feb which just happens to be the middle of Social Media Week London – so I thought it would be appropriate to combine the two. The result is an event centred on understanding the metrics available from Social Media with ideas about how to use this data to ...
